The crossing at Stratton Avenue, Railway's Milepost
218 + 1711, is currently in need of rebuild in order to provide
a smooth riding surface for the motoring public and Railway traffic.
It is proposed to repair the track by removing the
existing concrete crossing, surfacing the track and replacing
the crossing. Paving transitions will be constructed as soon
as possible after crossing work is completed.
In keeping with agreement between the City and the
Raiwlay, you may exercise your option to perform all work in
connection with paving the grade crossing.
Your approval for this work by the Railway is requested
within twenty (20) days in order that the necessary rebuild can
be scheduled at an early date.

The City of Sebastian is in receipt of a letter from F.E.C.
railway concerning reconstruction of Stratton Avenue Railroad
crossing.
Public Works would like to call to the attention of concerned
parties that the road right of way of Stratton Avenue is
80 feet. The rail crossing at this time does not accomodate
an 80 foot right of way.
Prior to FEC restoration, we feel this situation should -
be addressed.
Thank you.
