Re: Railway Crossing: Construction Request — City of Sebastian
Dear Mr. Russell:
Barber Street in the City of Sebastian is an F.E.C. crossing. It is located midway between
the Schumann Drive crossing to the north, and the County Road 510 crossing to the
south.
It is our intention to repave Barber Street to provide two well - defused thirteen foot lanes
to increase safety for the roadway.
At present, the F.E.C. section of the roadway varies in width from 21 feet to 23 feet and
the pavement is unraveling at the roadway edges.
I would be happy to meet with a member of your staff to discuss possible alternative
solutions to this situation.
I can be contacted at 561 -589 -5490. Thank you for your attention.
Sincerely,
Ralph N. Brescia, P.E.
City Engineer
