Agenda Item Title: Stonecrop Street Park
Recommendation: Consider recommendation from Parks & Rec (P&R) Committee
Background: In October 2015, Staff received an e-mail, via the Parks Website,
inquiring as to why the Stonecrop Street Park still has "No
Trespassing" signs. In December 1993, back-up materials will
indicate that Council directed "No Trespassing" and "No Parking"
signs were to be placed, temporarily, at the Stonecrop Street Park.
Recently, this issue was heard at the Parks & Rec Committee
meeting. The consensus of P&R committee members was that the
signs should come down. Since the sign placement was a Council
directive in 1993, the City Manager is requesting direction from
the 2015 Council regarding this issue.
