Make sure there are enough Hydrogen Sulfide Test Paper Disks and Alka-Seltzer. Alka-Seltzer is the reagent. 2) Place the paper disk in the bottle cap. 3) Run water from the sample point. (ex: hose bibb, sink faucet) for approximately one (1) minute. 4) Fill the plastic bottle with water up to the Blue Line. 5) Drop an Alka-Seltzer tablet in the bottle. 6) Immediately place the cap on the bottle and shake. 7) Compare the resultant mixture with the Color Chart included in the test kit. The odor threshold is 3 ppm as per DER 17-550 of the FAC. 8) Record the results. RBV/ar
