RE: Hardee Park - Additional Work Request
The Parks and Recreation Committee, at their February 23, 1988,
meeting, passed a motion unanimously to request additional work at
Hardee Park.
Attached please find a list of six items being requested.
The committee is in the process of contacting North County
Recreation to request their assistance with funding, but would
in the meantime appreciate approval from Council so that they may
begin this work.

1. Placement of benches at 4 or 5 scenic/suitable spots at least
one at one -thirds, two thirds and three quarters of the distance.
The ]moll is a lovely spot for one and there are several other
pretty areas.
2. Placing a sign at the entrance giving an accurate length of
the trail.
3. Placing signs at each exercise station describing the exercise
graphically and stating its purpose.
4. Placement of true distance markers on the trail for each tenth
of a mile.
5. improving ability to keep grass cut at exercise stations
by putting in a marl/other type path from main trail to it.
6. Put in a cross-over trail to the loop as a shortcut for those
who wish to do less than the whole trail.
