HomeMy WebLinkAbout2017 12 00 - Milling and Paving ADDENDUM TO CITY OF SEBASTIAN BID #17-22 MILLING AND PAVING ADDENDUM #2 DECEMBER 20, 2017 Changes: Quantities, Units: Use this Bid Sheet Basis of Bids Prospective “preferred” asphalt contractors shall complete thel bid cost to pave a 1000’ x 20’ wide two lane road using the following assumptions: • Mobilization 1 ea • MOT based on 4 flag persons (additional flag people will be addressed through a Change Order • Minor Base Repair (coquina rock) 1,000 SY X 6” thick • Milling and hauling Asphalt 20,100 SY • 2” Asphalt Pavement (SP 12.5) 2,200 Tons • Contractor will provide MOT plan (if needed) signed and sealed by a Florida Professional Engineer for the milling and paving of local and collector streets. • If applicable, Contractor will haul and dispose of existing asphalt pavement to be milled. • Work Order Completion timeline: 30-days (based on a 1000’ length of roadway). Asphalt Pavement 2200 TN $_________ $________ (SP12.5) Total Cost $________ END ADDENDUM TO CITY OF SEBASTIAN BID #17-22 MILLING AND PAVING ADDENDUM #1 DECEMBER 20, 2017 Overview This amendment serves to clarify misinformation presented during the initial mandatory Pre-Bid session, held on December 14, 2017. The City of Sebastian is soliciting bids to select two (2) designated “preferred” asphalt contractors who will respond to “as needed” asphalt jobs as the City might select. Each job will be evaluated as to cost prior to the issuance of a Purchase Order. Length of Contract This contractual relationship with the City will be for One (1) Year with the option of two (2) 1-year extensions. Asphalt Pavement (SP12.5) $_________ $________ To pave 2” X1000’ X20’W Total Cost $________ Other Notes: • The City of Sebastian anticipates awarding Work Orders to fulfill paving repairs/resurfacing for the following streets during this initial contract period: o Keystone Drive 1000 FT (Overlay only) o Pleasant View Lane 1200 FT o Polynesian Lane 1200 FT o Glentry Lane 1700 FT o Dewitt Lane 1050 FT o Damask Lane 1000 FT o Concha Drive 600 FT; and 980 FT (two areas) • All of the above streets are scheduled to receive stormwater related work before a go-ahead is given to the paving contractor. • Additional paving/reconstruction involving parking areas and airport apron areas may also be awarded, each will be costed according the scope of work involved. Bid Schedule 2 PM, January 4, 2018 is the bid submission deadline as outlined in the initial Bid 17-22 documents. END
