EROSION CONTROL/WATER QUALITY NOTES 1. EROSION CONTROL AND SEDIMENTATION CONTROL DEVICES SHALL BE IN PLACE PRIOR TO BEGINNING ANY CONSTRUCTION. THEY SHALL BE INSTALLED, AT A MINIMUM, TO THE LIMITS SHOWN IN THE DRAWING, AS REQUIRED IN THE SPECIFICATIONS AND IN ACCORDANCE WITH ALL REGULATORY AGENCY REQUIREMENTS. THE COST TO THE CONTRACTOR FOR ALL EROSION AND SEDIMENTATION CONTROL IS INCLUDED IN THE LUMP SUM BID AND NO ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION SHALL BE MADE BY THE OWNER. 2. WHERE A CONNECTION IS TO BE MADE IN THE FIELD TO AN EXISTING CONDUIT, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL EXCAVATE THE AREA TO VERIFY THE TYPE OF CONDUIT, CONDUIT SIZE, AND REQUIRED CONNECTION AND FITTINGS AND OBTAIN THE OWNERS APPROVAL OF THE PROPOSED (METHOD OF CONNECTION PRIOR TO INSTALLING MATERIALS. = 11. THE EXPLORATORY EXCAVATIONS SHALL BE MADE SEVENTY-TWO (72) HOURS IN ADVANCE OF THE WORK. IF THERE IS A POTENTIAL CONFLIC 1, THE CONTRACTOR IS TO NOTIFY THE CITY OF ANY OBSTRUCTION. 18. ELEVATION DATUM IS LOCAL DATUM. 19.
