RE: Annual Financial Report to the City of Sebastian

Once again after such an unbelievable year, our city turned out for the
Rotary Club of Sebastian Recreational Foundations event to raise funds for North
Indian River Youth and clubs. Last year, due to the Covid stay at home order, the
festival was cancelled a week before the event. Even with that, we were able to
help the area with $15,000 to the beneficiaries and clubs.
This year we raise $60,000+/- and gave back to the community $55,100.
This benefited 8 sports clubs, the Sebastian Rotary club activities and the
Fellsmere exchange clubs' activities.
Now that we have 6 years under our belt and with the city's support, we have
given away $244,656 in awards and have $34,500 in the bank for the future. We
have raised almost $280,000 in 6 years. Without question, this helps to make this
festival fun and entertaining as well as raising money for our community.
It is with great pleasure that the committee reports this to the city.
