COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
MINUTES
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 26, 2002 - 6:00 P.M.
CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS

The Mayor called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

NEW BUSINESS
1. Potential Piers and Community Redevelopment Agency Planning Activities
The City Manager stated this meeting was to solicit policy direction from the Board of Directors of
the CRA for the former Good Guys property.
Council expressed interest in having one floating dock for vessels up to 20', one smaller dock for
people to walk and fish on, a soft canoe/kayak launching site and a lighted cleaning table at the
end of the pier.
Discussion followed regarding a possible mooring field and the need to create conducive activities
for the environmentally sound area which is goal 4 of the CRA.

"1'11 make a motion to include the program as an identifiable capital improvement under
this goal."

5. Being no further business, the Mayor adjourned the special meeting at 6:40 p.m.
