AGREEMENT FOR DONATION AND DISPLAY OF ANTIQUE PROPELLER
THIS AGREEMENT entered into this 9th day of November, 2006, between the
CITY OF SEBASTIAN, a Florida municipal corporation (hereinafter called "CITY"),
and JOHN AND SHIRLEY MIEROW (hereinafter called "DONORS"), provides that
WHEREAS, CITY operates a general aviation airport and has recently opened its
first airport administration building; and
WHEREAS, DONORS are the owners of an antique propeller that they wish to
have displayed for educational purposes and to further develop the public interest in
aviation; and
WHEREAS, CITY desires to display the propeller to the public;
THEREFORE, IN AND FOR CONSIDERATION of the mutual benefits
provided herein, the sufficiency of which is acknowledged by the parties, it is agreed:
1. DONORS do hereby donate and give their antique propeller to the CITY.
2. CITY shall place said propeller on display to the public at the airport
administration building with an educational plaque identifying and describing the
historical significance of the display piece.
3. In the event that CITY at a future date is no longer able to display said
propeller in the airport administration building, it shall use its best efforts to place said
propeller in a similar museum-like setting for the enjoyment ofthe public.
4. Any and all reversionary interests held by heirs or successors-in-interest to
the DONORS shall extinguish ten years from the date of this Agreement.
