I am appreciative of the Society's response of 14 April 2014 that expresses a willingness to participate in the process of the museum development. It is in that context that I offer this Memorandum of Understanding: 1. The City of Sebastian will provide funding for curator services to the IRCHS to develop the Fisherman's Landing Sebastian Museum. 2. The IRCHS will develop the museum as a cultural heritage institution, will act as the on-site content specialist, and will be responsible for the interpretation of heritage material. 3. The IRCHS will use `best effort' financial management skills in utilizing City provided funding to develop the museum. The IRCHS will use commonly accepted financial, and records management, practices in accounting for City provided funds. 4. The City will retain ownership of all items purchased with City provided funds evidenced with a yearly inventory provided to the City. It is with a deep sense of gratitude that the IRCHS has agreed to participate in the development of this important historical site. On behalf of the City, please accept our sincere thanks for your many contributions. Joseph Griffin Ruth e Stanbrid p g City Manager IRCHS
