GENERAL RELEASE
BASSI vs. CITY OF SEBASTIAN
CASE NO.: 960608 CA 11
That LEONARD BASSI, for and in consideration of the full, final and complete settlement of all
pending and potential claims in the litigation bearing Case Number 960608 CA 11, in the Circuit Court of
the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit in and for Indian River County, Florida, and other valuable consideration,
received from or on behalf of the CITY OF SEBASTIAN, FLORIDA, a Political subdivision of the State
of Florida, BRUCE COPPER, Building Official and Director of Community Development, GENE
IiARRIS, Mayor of City of Sebastian, PETER VALLONE, City Councilman, ARTHUR FIRTION,
Mayor of Sebastian, STEVEN LUL,ICH, Code Enforcement Board and Attorney for the City of
Sebastian, EARLE L. PETTY, Chief of Police of the City of Sebastian, TOM FRAME, City Manager
for City of Sebastian, ROBERT FREELAND, City Councilman, CHUCK NEWBERGER, City
Councilman, JOEL L. KILFORD, City Manager of City of Sebastian (hereinafter referred to
collectively as "the Defendants "), the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged,
SHALL HEREBY irrevocably remise, release, acquit, satisfy, and forever discharge the
Defendants, their agents, servants, representatives, employees, officers, and insurance carriers and fully and
finally waive all, and all manner of action and actions, cause or causes of action, suits, attorneys' fees and
costs, specialties, covenants, contracts, controversies, agreements, promises, variances, trespasses, damages,
judgments, executions, claims, and demands whatsoever, by statute, in law, or in equity, which he ever had,
now has, or which his personal representatives, successors, heirs, or assigns, hereafter can, shall or may have,
against Defendants whether now known or now unknown for, upon, or by reason of any matter, cause, or
thing whatsoever from the beginning of the world to the date indicated below. This General Release in favor
of the Defendants includes, but is not limited to, any claims for damages, payments, benefits, or
compensation of any kind whatsoever raised in or that could have been raised in the litigation bearing Case
Number 960608 CA 11, in the Circuit Court of the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit in and for Indian River
County, Florida.
There are no conditions to this General Release. Leonard Bassi has read this General Release with
the assistance of Counsel and, after consultation with his attorney, understands the meaning, operation, and
effect of this General Release.
