If you recall, the Tulip Street project seeks to (1) rebuild/resurface Tulip Street; (2) construction on -street parking along the Multi -Use Field at Barber Street Sports Complex; and, (3) construction stormwater retention area in the City owned parcel near the intersection of Tulip and Persian. Additionally, as a previously agreement with Neel -Schaffer Engineering, the City agreed to award the design contract to Neel -Schaffer under our Continuing Service Agreement is incentive for the Engineering Firms to receive DEP grant funding for the project. As such, CSA # - in the amount of $32,000 represents a reasonable fee for the project. RECOMMENDATION Authorize City Manager to execute CSA #65, payable from the Tulip Street Project allocation programmed in FY 14 DST Fund. CITY OF SEBASTIAN, FLORIDA WORK AUTHORIZATION FORM CONSULTANT SERVICE AGREEMENT (CSA) Work Authorization No: #CSA -65 Project Identification: Tulip Street Drainage Improvement Design IT IS AGREED to undertake the following work in accordance with the provisions of the Neel -Schaffer, Inc. Master Agreement entitled NON-EXCLUSIVE CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT FOR ENGINEERING dated September 4, 2012. Description of Assignment: Neel -Schaffer will provide engineering design service for the preparation of the Tulip Street Drainage Improvements. Our design services will include the following: 1. Topographic surveying of the project area (Sub) $8,000 2. Preparation of 60%, 90% and 100% plans and bid documents $18,000 3. Drainage analysis and submit permit application to SJRWMD $4,000 4. Respond to any comments from the SJRWMD for project permit $2,000 Total Fee for Design $32,000 Basis of Compensation/Period of Services: The above referenced Professional Engineering Services for CSA 65 will be performed for the lump sum fee amount of $32,000.
