A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SEBASTIAN, INDIAN RIVER
COUNTY, FLORIDA, FINDING THAT THE SALE OF REAL
PROPERTY LOCATED AT 198 COLUMBUS STREET IS IN THE
BEST INTERESTS OF THE CITIZENS OF SEBASTIAN, INDIAN
RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, the City owns a parcel of property located at 198 Columbus Street,
Sebastian, FL; and
WHEREAS, the City Council had authorized acquisition of the subject property to
remediate a public nuisance and health hazard thereon; and
WHEREAS, the unsafe structure has been demolished and the property has been cleared;

WHEREAS, in accordance with Sec. 2-93 (b) of the Code, the City Council finds that the
sale of 198 Columbus Street is in the best interests of the citizens of Sebastian.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SEBASTIAN, FLORIDA, as follows:
1. The foregoing recitations are hereby incorporated as a portion of this Resolution;
2. The City Council finds that the sale of 198 Columbus Street is in the best interests of
the citizens of Sebastian.
3. City staff is authorized and directed to offer the subject property for sale by public bid
in accordance with Sec. 2-93(b) of the Code.
The foregoing Resolution was moved for adoption by Council Member Hill
The motion was seconded by Council Member Coy and, upon being put into a vote, the
vote was as follows:

The Mayor thereupon declared this Resolution duly passed and adopted this 18 day of
