A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SEBASTIAN, INDIAN RIVER COUNTY,
FLORIDA MEMORIALIZING FISCAL YEAR 2012 LONG RANGE GENERAL
FUND FORECASTS; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICT; PROVIDING FOR
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on an annual basis, the Sebastian City Council provides a plan for General
Fund revenues and expenditures; and,
WHEREAS, the Sebastian City Council, as required by Florida States and other generally
accepted accounting principles, adopts a balanced budget; and,
WHEREAS, as the national recession continues to reduce annual revenues, the
Sebastian City Council seeks methods to provide the same high quality services to the citizens of
Sebastian in a manner that meets the highest and most reasonable standards of public fiduciary
responsibilities.
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Council of the City of Sebastian as follows:
SECTION 1. FORMAL ADOPTION. The City Council hereby formally adopts the Fiscal Year
2012 General Fund Long Range Financial Forecast, attached hereto marked "Exhibit A" and
Exhibit "B ".
SECTION 2. EFFECTIVE DATE. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its
adoption.
The foregoing Resolution was moved for adoption by Council Member Wright . The motion
was seconded by Council Member Wolff and, upon being put to a vote, the vote
was as follows:

Vice Mayor Don Wright aye
Council Member Andrea B. Coy aye
Council Member Richard H. Gillmor aye
Council Member Eugene Wolff aye
The Mayor thereupon declared this Resolution duly passed and adopted this 28th day of
September, 2011.
