SE:('RF:T:1R\• Ms. / Mr. Airport Manager / Director Subject: FDOT Statewide Pavement Classification Number (PCN) Development Dear Sir / Madam, This letter is to confirm the participation of your airport in the Statewide Pavement Classification Number (PCN) Development Program. First, as Program Manager, I would like to thank you for participating and I look forward to working with you in the near future. A pavement engineering consultant firm, Roy D. McQueen & Associates, Ltd. (RDM) has been selected to assist the Aviation and Spaceport Office in conducting this program. The PCN Development Program is a multi-year project and scheduled accordingly in response to the FAA regulations on PCN reporting and the number of airports participating. The project will consist of three years/phases with the number of airports being visited evenly distributed through the duration of the PCN Development Program. The Project Engineer from RDM and/or our Program Coordinator, Mr. Vu Trinh, will contact your airport to facilitate this program. Please review and appropriately complete the attached documents. The receipt of the requested information is critical to the success of the PCN Development Program. Due to the nature of the requested information and documents, please do not email the data as it may be too Targe to send. Instead, provide the requested data in electronic PDF format on a DVD disc or a USB Flash Drive to the address provided on the response form. A field work schedule will be created and distributed for review once all requested information is received. Please note that the PCN Computation for all commercial service airports will be completed by the end of October 2015 to ensure they are compliant with the FAA requirement.
