A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SEBASTIAN, INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA
APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING
OCTOBER 1, 2019 AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 2020 FOR THE COSTS OF THE RECALL
ELECTION; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR SCRIVENER'S ERRORS; AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, a preliminary analysis of the revenues and expenditures for the fiscal year ending
September 30, 2020 indicated that actual expenditures for the City Clerk exceeded the amount budgeted as a
result of expenditures to conduct the Recall Election; and
WHEREAS, the City Council and City Manager have previously approved any other necessary
amendments and adjustments in accordance with the Annual Budget Resolution;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEBASTIAN,
INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. The budget for the City Clerk for the Fiscal Year beginning October 1, 2019 and ending
September 30, 2020 shall be amended and adjusted for the $41,604.00 total expenditures for conducting the
Recall Election; the revised appropriation are recognized as having been made to maintain and carry on the
government of the City of Sebastian, Indian River County, Florida.
Section 2. All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3. Sections of this resolution may be renumbered or re -lettered and corrections of
typographical errors which do not affect the intent may be authorized by the City Manager, or the City
Manager's designee, without need of further action of the City Council by filing a corrected copy of same
with the City Clerk.
Section 4. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
