WHA~REAS, there has existed a public alley in Hardee
Subdivision No. B in the City of Sebastian, described as follows,
to-wit:
Begin at ~he Southwest corner of Lot 8, in Block l, of
Hardee Subdivision No. B, as per plat ~hereof recorded in
Plat Book ~, at page 74, public records of St. Lucie
County, Florida, thence run Easterly on a straight
llne to the Southeast corner of said Lot 8, thence run
Southerly on an extension of the Easterly boundary line of
said Lot 8 to the North boundary line of Lot 7, in Block 1
of said subdivision, then run West on the North boundary
line of said Lot 7 to the Northwest corner of said Lo~
7, thence run Northerly on a straight line to the Southwest
corner of said Lot 8, and being the point of beginning.
and which above described public alley has been this day vacated
by an Ordinance of this City in ~hat the same is unsuitable and
insufficient for use, and Mrs. C. M. Hardee has agreed to convey
to this City an area to make adequate and sufficient provision
for an alley which will more suitably serve the property making
use of such alley than the heretofore existing alley which has
been this day vacated, and in consideration of conveyance by this
City to her of the portion of alley so vacated and which portion
and the pa~.~ent o.~ ~$0.00 by the City o~ ~rs. Lardee
is bounded by property presently owned by Mrs. Harde~/; and it
being to the best interest of the City so to do;
BE IT RESOLVED, That this City convey to Mrs. C. M.
Hardee the portion of alley so vacated and hereinbefore described
upon receipt of conveyance by ~rs. Hardee to this City of the herin-
after described parcel of land which shall be opened and used
by this City as a public alley~, and pay to her said ~S0.O0.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the officials of this
City are herewith authorized and directed to execute and deliver
such documents as shall be necessary to carry out the directions
of this Resolution.
