SUMMARY
At Wednesday's Council meeting, you will be asked to consider the new lease between
the City and Fisherman's Landing Sebastian, Inc.
Per your request, a public workshop was conducted on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 in
order to gain input on the proposal. Approximately 6-10 residents were in attendance.
Since the February 27, 2013 meeting, Staff has modified the lease based on your
discussion. During that meeting Council members were probed as to what lease issues
they most favored and opposed. Based on those conversations, staff modified the lease
in the following ways in order to present a lease that may garner a majority of support
from City Council:
➢ 20 Year Term;
• 2 ;Special Events Annually;

➢ Additional Insurance Requirement from FLS during Special Events;
➢ City Constructed Restroom for FLS; and,
➢ 5 Years to Construct the Fish House.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends approval of the lease.
